• Can I join if I do not work in academia?
  Absolutely! One of YEuCat's primary goals at the moment is to establish a good connection to young professionals in industry. We would be very happy if you decide to become a part of our network! 

• I am not sure if I qualify as a young professional in catalysis.
  Short answer: If you feel like one, you are welcome to join!
  Long answer: We encourage you to join if you have not obtained a permanent position in academia yet or if you have just started your career outside of academia in the last five years. However, we are flexible with these criteria. 

• Can I join even if my country is already represented in YEuCat?
  Yes, of course. While we aim to have as many different countries as possible represented in the network, there are no quotas per country.

• I am working in catalysis, however, not in a European country. Can I still join?
  Sure! While our activities are currently focusing on Europe (regarding locations and time zones), we are welcoming people from all around the globe to join us.
